Director's Address

Welcome to the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) where we work to ensure that standards and qualities of all programmes and activities in the University are regularly maintained and consistently enhanced. Our mandate is to encourage and facilitate quality service delivery that meets the expectations of the University’s immediate and remote stakeholders. We benchmark our performance as a university against international best practices, as today’s Higher Education operates in a global community that demands that all players measure themselves against universally acceptable operating standards. At the QAU of the University of Ilorin, we see quality assurance as not just compliance with standards, but as an invitation to continuously improve on our performance. Our goal is to create a culture where Quality Assurance is seen by all staff of the University as a need, not a burden.
